The distance learning university has published the notification for IGNOU Admission July 2017 to all it’s offered academic programmes. The university offered admission to interested students twice in a year i.e in the month of January and July. IGNOU offers a plethora of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the university also offers certificate, diploma, and PG diploma courses.
The university offered admission in two modes either online admission or offline admission. In both modes, students must have IGNOU Student Handbook & Prospectus 2016-17 which can be obtained via 3 methods.
1) First method is for those students whose take admission offline and can easily get application form and prospectus at cost of Rs 200 from nearest regional / study centre.
2) Second method is for those students whose can request of prospectus via post. Students need to make a Demand Draft of Rs 250/- in favour of IGNOU, New Delhi.
3) Third method is to download the soft copy of Student Handbook & Prospectus by visiting the university official website. After downloading soft copy, students need to submit the DD of Rs 200 along with application form.
The Student Handbook & prospectus consists course details such as duration, overview of course, fees, eligibility criteria, syllabus, subject code and credit etc. Students need to download application form, fill up form, enclosed required documents, pay course fees and submitted to the concerned regional centre.
Last year, the open distance university has launched the online admission portal i.e https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in/. By visiting online admission portal, students can apply for admission to all disciplines via online. In this method, students can fill the application form online and attach all required documents and even can done payment via via Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking etc. The online admission facility is available for all programmes.
LAST DATE OF IGNOU ONLINE ADMISSION : The admission notification for Ignou admission July 2017 is available on the official website. As per notification, the submission of application form is started from 1st February 2017 and last date for submission of application is 30th June 2017. The distance university published admission notification in the national and local daily newspapers as well.
